Làm cách nào để đi theo Chúa tôi đây?
Có một lần tôi nghe bài giảng của một linh Mục, hiện nay ngài đang làm giám mục địa phận ở bắc việt khi thụ phong giám mục ngài chuyển ra miền bắc theo lệnh toà thánh.
Bài giảng của ngài như thế này:
'Sau khi tôi xem bộ phim "Ba hạt dẻ dành cho cô bé lọ lem" tối đến tôi không thể ngủ được. Cô bé lọ lem đẹp quá, hình ảnh cô ấy cứ trong đầu tôi mãi, và suy nghĩ ấy cứ thế đeo đẳng tôi mãi làm cho tôi mệt mỏi. Đôi lúc tôi tự hỏi có phải mình đã yêu cô bé lọ lem rồi chăng? Ăn cũng nghĩ, ngủ cũng nghĩ, làm việc gì cũng nghỉ đến cô bé lọ lem mà mình thì là linh mục thế có khổ không chứ!
Sau hai tuần lễ khổ sở với mối tương tư đó, tôi đã hoá giải được vấn đề. Ngồi một mình nhìn lên bầu trời bao la rộng lớn, tôi tự làm một phép tính và hoán đổi. Tôi đặt giả thuyết cô bé lọ lem xinh đẹp kia là Thiên Chúa, ba hạt dẻ dành cho cô là ba ngôi Thiên chúa. Thôi thì thay vì mình yêu say đắm cô bé lọ lem thì mình yêu Chúa vậy có khác gì đâu... thế là tình yêu của tôi rất hạnh phúc và thủy chung.'

Kính Thánh Maria Goretti
Thánh Maria Goretti sinh tại Corinaldo, Ancona, nước Ý ngày 16 tháng 10 năm 1890. Cha của Goretti là một lao công nghèo vì vấn đề sinh sống phải dọn nhà về xứ Ferrier di Conca, gần Anzio. Ông qua đời vì bệnh sốt rét và mẹ của Goretti phải chật vật nuôi đàn con dại.
Năm 1902, khi Goretti lên 12 tuổi, một thanh niên hàng xóm tên là Alexander, 18 tuổi, đã say mê Goretti. Một hôm Goretti đang đứng nơi thềm nhà, Alexander đi ngang qua đã chạy lại kéo Goretti vào nhà định hãm hiếp, nhưng Goretti đã chống lại kịch liệt và cho Alexander biết là thà chết chứ không chịu thất tiết. Alexander nổi giận đã dùng dao đâm nhiều lát vào ngưòi của Goretti. Khi nằm trong bệnh trước khi chết Goretti đã tha thứ cho Alexander.
Alexander đã bị bắt và bị kết ám 30 năm tù. Hắn tỏ ra không hối cải mà còn ương ngạnh, nhưng một thời gian sau hắn nằm mơ thấy hắn đang ở trong một khu vườn thật đẹp và Goretti đang ở đó và đã trao cho hắn những bông hoa. Khi tỉnh dậy, Alexander hoàn toàn thay đổi, ăn năn hối cải tôi lỗi của mình và bắt đầu một cuộc sống đổi mới. Sau 27 năm Alexander được thả ra khỏi tù đã đến thăm mẹ của Goretti và xin bà tha thứ, “Con gái của tôi đã tha thứ cho anh thì làm sao mà tôi có thể còn oán hận anh được!”
Khi Goretti được Đức Giáo Hoàng Pius XII phong hiển thánh vào năm 1950, Alexander đã đến Công trường thánh Phêrô giữa những tín hữu để tỏ lòng tôn kính. Thánh Maria Goretti là hình ảnh người thiếu nữ trinh tiết và gương mẫu cho những người trẻ. Goretti là một đấng tử đạo vì đã chống cự lại lòng ham muốn bất chính của Alexander, nhưng còn cao trọng hơn nữa là đã tha thứ và hoàn lương kẻ sát hại mình dù khi đã về bên kia thế giới.
